Well theres a new chapter starting so thought I may as well start on this thread again. A fair amount has happened, mini was laid up in October last year, maestro van was K20 swapped, broke, then sold, RX7 is on the road, I bought a mk4 fiesta and put the K20 in that and the mini has just sat bc I was bored of it really, its fast(ish), fun and a amazing car to drive but I fancied a change.

Anyway I actually really missed driving the mini, and I've always wanted a mini pickup so ended up buying a shell for an extortionate amount of money and am going to be putting the k series into that and this one back to 'standard' to sell. After not driving it for close to a year it started right up, driving it was interesting as it started off with brakes that got worse until the pedal just went to the floor so they need looking at lol

My insta will probably be more updated than hear if anyone wants to follow, its in my sig  :gimme: I'll spam a load of pictures, hopefully get the engine out soon as the pup needs to be done for IMM 2020 Germany  :teehee:

:mrcool: RIP indeed man , but bigger and better pup shaped things to come  :P

Put a few hours in friday and tonight, got the front end stripped, dropped the subframe with engine, stripped the front of the interior, pedal box, etc and dug out my old lightened subframe (very glad i didnt get rid of it haha) Also dropped the front subframe off the pick up to rob the arms off it, going to wire brush, clean and fit new bushes. What is very annoying however is when I had a garage tidy out, the amount of bits I gave / threw away, that I now need, hindsight eh

Oh man , Looking forward to seeing the pickup though :gimme:. I'm very tempted to go to IMM Germany...

If you need any parts I might be able to sort some out for you, I've got gear selector rods if you need them
