Soo, its finally on the road and being driven! Few teething problems, but nothing major as of yet. Added a few things and changed stuff..

Next is a set of alloys, probably the KN Mercury's, but I have some very special ones planned for the future

The new steering wheel is definitely an improvement although I'm not so keen on the louvres!
Presumably you don't plan on playing cards with that pack again!

So, after my last update, things went wrong. The car lasted 3 days on the road, before the clutch juddered hard. I fitted a new slave, no cure, so I put in a new master in. The car spent a week or so like this while I wait for parts.

The old clutch fluid looked like this; glad I changed it!

And a couple tools got modified to make the job easier  ;D

That cured that issue, then… broke down, twice the next day! Fan belt snapped, so Mr. RAC came and fitted me a new one. Then on the way home, it snapped again.. So I had to be towed home

So, take the car to bits time  :teehee:

This was the cause, bent water pump pulley (Had to use a puller to get it off)

So all back together, and it seems to be alright now *touch wood*

Little change on the exterior, won a MK2/3 grille for £2.20 :D. Turned out to be stainless, I painted it black and added a badge. Also took away the tow strap.

Cheers for reading

Fitted a new alternator as I kept having to be jump started! Starts first time now, just need to lower its idle speed. A rolling road session will be in the new year. I got bored of the hubcaps; really like driving it now!

Cheers man :D. eBay would be your best bet for a badge, though prices can get rather high! These are what mine are missing; inserts where the studs I through. I'm going to have a play on the lathe at work and see if I can sort it!
