Hi
I recently purchased a restored Mk1 Cooper. and it has been painted in single pack Almond Green and Old English white roof. There are a couple of areas where the pain has cracked, a thin crack about 2 inches long on the top of the scuttle, and some small paint cracks by both centre pillars. I have the exact paint type and colour at hand.

I really want to get these areas corrected. Can anyone please tell me if there are experts around who can use this type of paint to touch up, or, is it easily done at home if I had a spraygun etc

Thanks

Single pack ?? as in Cullulose paint ?

The thin crack indicate a poor repair underneath, possibly a welded section or a section with filler ?

To touch up this paint you can do it yourself..

There is a guide above, and it has a section on touching in paint..

That should sort you out with what you need to know.
