well I have finally gone and done it I have got my self a mini pickup after a few years of saving and finding one that is not complete full of rot.

dusty is a 1978 mini pickup and is very solid needs a few bits doing to him tho as he has cover sills but old sills taken off, repairs done to bulk head but not the nicest of jobs, and a couple of mot patches on the flitches and front of the floors. so all in all not a lot to take on. sadly I didn't take any pics of him when I picked him up yesterday but have some from the add.

a bonus is he is fitted with a 1275 aswell, I don't know if it is free or not but a rebuild will be in ordered for it.

hope you enjoy should update the thread as I go.

Looks a great project :)

What are your plans? Mostly original with a nice engine?

Well last friday i had a quick dig through the parts that came with it. Looks like it is 95% there which is good i found the keys for it and full lock set and other bits and bob. What is good news is that i was able to turn the engine over by hand which means it isnt seized unlike the carb.
Bit busy atm but when i have some spare time will unload all the parts catalogue them and start getting the body stripped ready to get it shot blasted.
