Personally I think adding DRLs to a Mini never really looks 'right' as it is always going to look aftermarket as there aren't any useful locations in a Minis light area up front. Adding behind grille etc looks naff and when using LEDs they run the risk of being a bit blue and I dare say the Police wont be liking that very much!
Its a modern thing and as Minis arent modern cars, I dont see much need for them. Each to their own though :)
