Shell suit in pic number 5 is so 'retro'.  

Those type of jackets are rather fashionable now, I may even own one myself

I was there and remember it well.  My wife and I took our newish Mainstream Cooper.  Those photos don't show it in all it's glory. We abandoned our tent and stayed in a hotel for a couple of nights.

 

Fortunately our car was parked on the raised area.

In fact I am sure we did as I seem to recall my incredulity that you did not have any wet weather gear.

Ha, I did make a small tonneau the week before we left, you can see the fresh studs in the photo! Ideal if rain is vertical, which it rarely is! The deseamed Mayfair which let in water with no gutters was more of a concern to me...as it had an "interior"
