. Basically, I've not made any progress since the ast update as I've been busy on other projects. I had planned to have the ECU installed in a Golf GTi and tested on a dyno by now - but you know what they say about plans! I can't see me making any progress this year due to current workload but I'll report back as soon as I can.
no need to apologise, i think we are all just keen to see how the project is turning out. Are you still planning on selling these once they have been tried and tested?
Once i've had it tested on a few different engines, I'm probably going to publish the source code, parts lists and as much documentation as I have - basically enough info for someone to buy the parts and build their own. The only thing unique is the cicuit board and if there's a demand I can have more produced and that's about all I'd need to sell.
Publishing the source code and parts list would be a nice approach, for me any way, it would be nice to build the system for myself. As you said, you could reclaim a bit of your own development costs through selling the PCB's. Though i am sure several people would like a pre-assembled "out the box" solution
