just been reading on the forums , the problems with 3 - 10 year old diesel cars

 

DPF & Regen , ERG valves , Chains , sensors etc

 

they are a night mare , better to stick with petrol - works out cheaper in the long run (although cheap chains plauge petrols as well)

 

also (off subject) Nissan (datsun) Navaro's rotting chassis from the inside > out

 

it's sad to hear when an owner is convinced that a plate welded on the outside of the chassis , over a rust hole - miraculously fixes all the problems

 

then they just continue to dissolve

 

it's almost like 100 years of motoring knowledge has been forgotten - same mistakes are being made over & over again

Funilly enough a guy at work had his Navara inspected due to the rot problem, the guy doing it from the AA wasn't allowed to discuss it or tell him if his is affected or not. I haven't seen him to see what the outcome was yet.

We had a letter recently.

The Ibiza is rubbish on fuel anyway
