Hi

 

why not put an explanation of what mini the forum is for - ie classic mini , not BINI , in the forum header

& pin a link to bini forums under it ?

 

would only take 1 line & save the questions about BINI's

 

ps BINI's seem to have more £xpensive problems ,

I wouldnt be linking any BMW mini sites as it could end up indexing our forum under searches for that website/URL.

 

Also i believe it says when signing up to the forum that we are classic mini based.

It is something that has been discussed at length and the redesigned sign up system should leave people in no doubt. It has reduced the numbers but it seems there are the odd one that just doesn't read what they are signing up to unfortunately. As Jordie has said there are issues with putting links in the header but obviously feel free to point any new mini questions in the right direction.

so they have to type the year the classic mini ceased production

 

& it says this is a site for the classic mini

 

yet they still think it is a BINI site

 

maybe we need an iq test for entry

If the mini in the logo and on the right is not enough for people to digest then they really need to have a word with themselves.

It will stay as it is for the time being.
