Hi all as some may no I have a build thread for my 1966 mk1 this is now complete and for sale.

How I got to own EKO.

so some 5 years ago after talking to a regular down the pub he said his dad was selling his 1990 mini cooper so I went to take a look and spoke to the owner who said its wasn't for sale and wasn't happy his son said so but he did mention a mini mayfair in the back garden that was as engine donor.so 5 years past and I decided after seeing no movement of the 1990 cooper on the drive ide try my luck again with buying his cooper but still no budge I asked about the mayfair in the back garden he said it was too far gone but I asked to take a look and thought it wasn't that bad so I now own a 1991 mini mayfair for £250 but need to return him the engine and wiring loom but I was changing this anyway. Pics of it in is his garden. Will be collecting it tomorrow if dry or Wednesday. Cant wait to rummage around see what im in for. This ones my keeper for shows and sunny days out with the kids.all comments welcome.rhys
