Ok so earlier when towing the car back I noticed a trail off oil on my drive but the engine is fine turns out there was an old canister of used oil in the boot that had tipped over many moons ago and the spare tyre well was full of oil and the battery box,but it has somewhat preserved the boot lol, also I stripped out the carpets seats and seat belts and rear door Cards checked the rear bins there spot on and also checked the floor pans rear pabs are solid front are to but need attention in the front corners where they meet the inner wings which are surprisingly solid also one small patch in the boot floor.

Shell doesn't look to bad at all, maybe inner sills to first groove and a few patches in boot will sort the underneath,
Maybe I am a little sad but I prefer doing the project than I do driving it when complete. Problem is I don't have enough room for any more after the next one so either sell or find something else to do.

Looks quite a good shell. Better than I thought it would once moved out anyway

Lol Yeah body not too bad will possibly take engine out tomorrow night and remove front end and door to see what the inner wings are like car needs a new scuttle front end doors sills and patch repairs

today I pulled out the lights and disconnected the engine loom and cables hose bla bla later on I only need to undo the 4 floorpan bolts and top turret bolts and steering rack then lift off the shell from the subframe.

Well tonight saw the engine and front assembly removed inner wings are good just one patch to repair on drivers inner wing where the front panel welds to it also removed passenger door and the door post looks pretty solid next plan is to clear the rest of the engine bay remove glass all round and remove front scuttle wings and slam panel then clean the engine bay ready for some primer
