https://mot-history.net/

Handy for looking up the MOT history of any car you may be interested in buying.

you no longer need the MOT test number or V5 number to use it

Seems to be just recent tests? My mini hasn't had an MOT for quite some years so nothing on file from them. Quite useful though, good find.

I believe its only tests that have been performed since the introduction of the online testing.

All old type MOT's (the A5 size handwritten certificates) won't be included

That'll be why then, my mini certainly hasn't had one since the online testing!

I really wish you hadn't found that site. Since 2007, my mini has only one pass on the first attempt, in 2010. Every other year, it failed the first and passed the second, with all kinds of advisories throw in for good measure.

The recurring theme, year after year, appears to be suspension related issues. Fortunately, it is all being overhauled and so will likely have most things new before it is next back on the road.

I must have killed my Clio... probably driving it for 8 months with a blown head gasket didn't help

It seems to get seriously confused if you have had more than one car with a personal plate which has been transferred a couple of times.
