Ive noticed the prices of the 1275gt going up and up now for a year or so, The early ones in very good condition are asking £20000,

car and classic car

and piston heads

wow thats a lot, we all know that these are going up as no body can get there hands on the mk1 mk2 mk3!!! cooper s cars and are settling for the next best thing.

so my question is what would you think a mint fully restored 1980 genuine 1275gt is worth in the best colour black.!!!!!!!!!!!

not just a quick spray job but a proper nut and bolt

No GT is worth 20k....

So anyone asking that kind of money is a knob jockey.

It'll be worth less than it cost to restore, so IMO, don't bother restoring anything you don't want for yourself ... Sell it as it is and let someone who actually wants to use the car either restore it themselves, or pay someone to restore it for them, how they want it.

A 2.7 Carrera RS isn't "worth" £500K but they are selling for that. Desirable classic car prices have been rising for years, and it would not be surprising to see a mint and original 1275GT going for £20K+ easy.

Who said it was. Can a man not have 2 3 or maybe even 4 Gt s

I think you have misunderstood a very simple question.

So I will repeat the question I asked before we got lead off topic.

What do we or you think a fully restored 1275gt black 1980 is worth. Plane and simple.
If you don't know don't comment.

I'd like to know people's thoughts on real valuations. If you have had experience on selling a gt.
I don't want insults and negitiverty here just good honest answers.

5-6k for a road going restored late model GT, 10k for a show standard concours example, and I would expect them to be in factory trim and specification... No twin carbs, no metro engines, no bucket seats
