Came home this evening to find R kid in the garage making himself busy...

 

He gave the inside of the doors another coat of black and gave the hubs a coat as well, Good Lad!!

Over 200 quids worth of bits went into the minispares basket last night. More to go in later, going to phone the engine fella later, and I wonder why I have no money haha

We could combine postage the amount we’ve all had from minispares recently aha! Minis are like pets, constant attention and money but worth it aha! Picked you engine up yet? Excited to see that in!

My day off today, but went in work at 3 for 4 hours easy overtime, came home and he's been at it again cleaning bits up and giving them a splosh of paint

 

This engine mount was well crusty and full of oil and crud, came up well, will look good with a coat of black

 

Must've been the minis natural corrosion protection oil slick. he also cleaned up the filter housing thingy me bob

 

And I got a wheel out of the loft to show my nephew who's painting the car and wheels, he's now weighed the car up and is happy with what we've done up to now

I have a week off in May so if I can have the underneath stonechipped and body colour I can think of sending it to my nephew, then it's putting it all back together
