You'll have her welding next. Bet you can't wait until she's old enough to make a cup of tea.

Well it's been a long time since I updated this! Next up was fitting the two piece front end which I had bought from Arc Angels including the Mk1 bonnet, it took a little fettling to fit as I wanted but I was pleased the fit in the end, I used motorcycle fairing bolts through into plates attached to the A panels and the bottom is fixed by bolts from the subframe.

Next was cutting out for lights, grille and fitting the Somerford Grp 2 arches. Also tried my revolutions for size.

Then on to rubbing the Midnight Blue down and filling where necessary, not my favourite part of the job but had help from a couple of friends!

Then off to my mates shed for a coat of WT3

My son getting excited about impending trips out in the mini, i'd had it three years before he was born!!! He's now nine years old.

I came home from holiday two weeks later to be greeted by this, cheers Rich!

Fast forward another 2 years! The car was fitted with an Mg metro 1275 engine which I refreshed and fitted about 18 months ago this was fine until I wasn't happy with a rumbling noise that I heard coming from the gearbox,so I thought I'd take it out over this winter and see what was wrong.
You will have to bear with me while I re equaint myself with imgur!!

Because of lock down my mate was unable to come and help me to lift the engine back in so i came up with a plan to get it in on my own, it does help that the front is removable.
