Have you worked out a way to make the throttle cable work with the ITG panel?  would be interested to to see your solution.

IMG_1229_zpsfu3454v4.jpg

yea its spaced so the throttle quadrant pulls around without hitting the plate.

Throttle quadrant? Don't think mine has this, Ive been looking at changing to a similar filter but can't think of a way to attach the cable.

Any chance of any more pictures, close up please?

Im going to make a bracket to direct the cable on to the quadrant from underneath, then set it so when you push the pedal it pulls the cable down thus opening throttles.

Got my floor painted again, completely bare metaled it Sprayed it with epoxy primer then upol raptor. Really pleased with finish.

Really happy with the results, is exactly how i wanted. Next up is possibly another coat or 2 in places and start prepping the bay and interior for paint. Have a friend who worked in a high end body shop coming to help with that so it should be done to a very high standard.

Cheers for looking

Approx 2 and a half bottles Richie, i thinned it the 10 percent and added 10 percent base coat before putting it on @60psi on a hvlp gun. I will probably scuff it up and apply a few more coats to be honest

I am hoping to use raptor on my cars underside, what size gun did you use, largest one I have is 2.0mm if this isn't large enough will probably try it with shutz gun.
Looks good though, when mixing is it just normal 2k direct gloss mixed with it.

Gun size was 2.0mm

I used base coat mate, read instructions and it suggests 2k may be better, never saw this to after

Thanks, thing I like about raptor is the colour is in the stonechip so hopefully any small damage from use will still be body colour, also as it's 2k should be hard wearing and less likely to cause reactions than cellulose based stonechip. Think I will give it a go a jawel a now sell it in 1 litre packs whereas normally comes in a larger pack.

The whole kit cost me 90 quid a few weeks back, it was the first time ive ever sprayed it and it looks brilliant imo. Im going to apply the whole kit when ive it up on the jig so will scuff it up and reapply next weekend, ive scrapping some of it with my nail and its well solid.

Well almost 2 years since my last post I decided that I really want this finished at the start of the year and ive been steaming along nicely.

Interior got painted

Sorted the dash

and some other parts of the interior, or lack of interior

Reworked the grill so it now is quick release instead of the self tapping screws, from here I got a new bonnet and mounted it up on some leather straps and pitking quick release fixings on the rear.

The underside also got redone as I wasnt happy with it

Everything from the underside was stripped fully, blasted and repainted. When I done this i replaced all bolts and 99% of everything else that bolts on
