Quick question on engine bolts.
Should I renew the bolts before fitting the new head?
The head has been off before about six years ago due to overheating and original bolts were kept once the head was skimmed.

Wise choice, you won’t regret, just make sure you torque with their lube.

For head torque, I just used all standard measurements from the Haynes manual. Hopefully thats ok!

There's a piece of paper in the kit with the torque setting on it. 45lbft for the mains, 25lb ft for the smaller rocker cover.

Has anyone got any experience of fitting the MPI Cooper Car Company conversion, I'm trying to figure out where the fuel boost valve is to be attached?
