Hi all just bought 1979 saloon 850cc mini unfinished restoration totally in bits,bought some new panels from m machine,made a spit and started chopping out the rust,had a couple of minis a long long time ago and thought why not have another,the rebuild has begun,great information about sill replacement and everything thing else I'm sure it won't be long before I'm asking questions,thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard, lots of experienced owners on here, that are only to glad to help with advice. My advice would be tackle one side at a time then you have a side for reference and work on the worst side first. If you are having to cut lots o metal out brace the shell with scrap steel box section. - Good luck
