Not mini related but could be, I bought a 1962 lambretta scooter, never been reg. in the uk. Ive filled in the V55/5 form, it has a full Mot, a dating letter showing manufactured in 1962, and full nova clearance, I thought that it needed insurance as well but apparently the rules changed 6 months ago and it doesn't now? Can anyone verify this for me, as it would save me having to insure it as I wont be riding it till spring, its safe in the house!! Cheers Martin.

I can't, but it makes sense. Since the end of the tax disc all they have is your number plate and it will grass you up for insurance, mot or tax in equal measure.
