If she wants to sell it put it on here and see if someone wants it as a project it must be worth nearly a grand as it looks in good nick apart from sills

The car is in North Hampshire. If she decides that she wants to sell it on Ill ask if shes happy to advertise on tmf. A friend will help her if she chooses to sell.

It's definitely got to be worth 1k if you get the sills and edges of the floors done ull be looking at a 3k car easily

The car is in North Hampshire. If she decides that she wants to sell it on Ill ask if shes happy to advertise on tmf. A friend will help her if she chooses to sell.
North Hampshire, that's not far from the isle of Wight.
I suspect the garage who said it was uneconomical to repair probably put the oversills on and don't know the true value of the car.
Is she planning on buying something else?

A dealer has a 16K miles one on at £7995 on eBay, must be in top condition I suppose

On a Mini of that age - what you can see is just the tip of the Iceberg. Unknowingly I bet the original garage are 100% accurate. Late shells are rot boxes.
However buys this will be doing with heart, not financial head.

Oversills attempting to kill another mini its got to be 1k car all day long nice and original low miles etc hope someone saves this...
