Vtec Starting Issue

Tried to start my vtec yesterday turns over fuel pump works

But there is no spark
Not sure if injectors are working have a earth from engine to battery. Running z car looms throught out
Any ideas?

Welcome to my world mate my failure to start was the map sensor orange and blue wire were the wrong way round in the loom it now runs but badly I am of to ap race engines on Saturday morning to see if they can sort it

ecu end or sensor end i need to swap wires round? Thanks

Mine was on the sensor end the blue and orange wires were the wrong way round on mine take a look at all other 5v plugs they should all be in the same order orange,white,blue maybe worth a try

No problem mate he's got a 600bhp rolling road aswell so if we get it running right we are going to live map it on the rollers

Just had a look at my sensor it has different colour wires to yours going to try and contact the ecu manfacturer tomurrow to get a wiring diagram ):

I have got a plug wiring diagram for the s60 I just Googled it and they all come up as downloads I have just been looking through your pics and either mine or your throttle body is upside down if you want me to email you the diagrams I have got text me your email address and I will email you them 07814433761

Have started to fit my wiring looms and tried to start it. when i look none of the loom chassic plug wire colours match up

Could someone please take some photos of there looms to see if there is an issue with mine

Its a k20 with all z cars looms throught

I'd love to help but I had to cut off all the connectors from the car loom because they weren't usable, due to not being able to buy the matching plugs from anywhere, not even the manufacturer of the old loom would sell me the right plugs - F3ckerz. If the newer loom is anything like the old one nothing matches, plugs, wire colours etc......

 

The wiring took me the longest of all the jobs.

Ok thanks the wiring is all over the place may build my own loom might be easier

I got to that very same conclusion once I'd finished my build.
