The standard mini uses rubber "washers" under the subframe pillar bolts as well as between the sub frame and bulkhead cross member.

The z cars sub frame does away with the lower rubber washer but what should replace the top one? My kit did not come with top solid mounts to replace the original rubber ones, is this normal or is it normal to use a solid top mounts?

You can fit it dry, like the race cars, this can sharpen up the handling, but it rides a bit to firm, and lacks some smoothness. I will fit a set of yellow Polly bushes on the front subframe, where it passes through the tower bolts.

Interested to see what others have done?
