well shes here , as shes sat a while , i did a quick spark plug replacement , cleaned the points , filled her up with fresh petrol , we then headed out for a norfolk cruise . she has a some poor repairs on the drivers sill and step , a small hole in the boot under the water bottle , nothing major , all of which will be removed , replaced , tidied up in summer . this weekend , she`ll get a full major service . its then over to my daughter and me , to enjoy some mini time , pics are from the seller , i`ll take some more as i work thru the jobs , cheers ady

IT looks like you have a pretty tidy little car there. And if the dreaded rust is confided to the areas you have found you have done well.

By the looks of it you have the dreaded oversills fitted. You may be surprised by some rott. Might be worth taking the plunge sooner rather then later and getting the sills sorted.

shes gotta crap over sill on the drivers side , but a standard item on the other , i always try n opt for summer welding , its easier to go out n forget about it , plenty of grinder with wire wheel attachment has been done , and rust treatment splashed on , that`ll do for now

Ah that's not so bad one side is certainly better then both. Best rust treatment stuff I can recommend is 85% phosphoric acid from the interwebs. Makes the off the shelf stuff kurust etc look like tap water.

Do you mean the sprayed on sound deadening ?
Or had someone sprayed some other type of paint on it.

I must be really attached to mine considering the work I've put in lol.

At least this one doesn't seem to bad

hello there , not the factory rock hard stuff , after it had been repaired , it had been over painted with a type of rubber paint , this had held in the water in a few places , i`m glad thats gone .
