Hi,

I have a 1994 Rover Mini 1275 Automatic.

I have just brought a second hand HIF44 1 3/4" Carburettor and have stumbled upon a problem.

I can't connect my governor rod (kickdown rod) to the throttle due to there is no slot for it.

Does anyone know the part I need to make it work?

Thankyou in advance,

P.S. 1st time owning an automatic mini.

Something wrong with your carburettor .... has it been used like that ?  or has it had a rebuild or similar because the lever quadrant is the wrong way around, the butterfly is either in 180 degrees out of design intent or it won;t actually rotate.....

I was also thinking it is the wrong way round from what I've seen on other hif44's...think some work needs doing on this

You are missing the plate and support for throttle and choke cable .. that's why it's all changed ...

That's a HIF6 not a HIF44, it was half of a set of twins originally. You can make anything work with anything though
