Haven't a clue,
I do reckon it's a lose lose for the EU. If we go there will be unrest, especially among the marginal, newer members. If we get enough concessions to stay there'll be unrest as others look for a better deal too.
I reckon it's a good idea in principal.

The EU are passing laws all the time that affect the UK and our regulations on classic cars. In many European counties cars are not allowed to be modified in any way.
The production of minis was ended in part due to not being able to meet EU safety regulations. The land rover defender has just ended production due to not being able to meet new EU emission regulations that will come into effect in 2020.
This is far from my only reason against the EU. But it's not total crap.

I jumped ship 9 years ago, leaving my mother country to come and spend my days with my Belgian wife, Carmen.
Being British, I still take an interest, especially the up coming EU vote:
What I see is that the stay in EU vote is basically scaremongering. This is what 'may' happen or could possibly happen. So many years of economic uncertainty - it's just all too negative with no certainty whatsoever of
what will actually happen.
The, 'Let's leave' vote, is far more 'up-beat' and positive! We can still trade and do business with the World - and without the hassle of being tied by membership rules.
And now, throwing The Premiership Football League into the argument just baffles me.? In or out of the EU - what the **** has this got to do with kicking a football around.?
We do like to punch above our weight, but actually, if we left, from this side of the Channel, I don't we'd be missed in the long-term..
