Good luck with it

Have a good look under the front top shock mounts for corrosion

Cheers, Not done much today apart from a little more rubbing down, noticing it used to be red. Had a good look round and under things, pretty solid to be fair apart from a small tiny hole in the boot under the spare. Will post more when I've made some progress.

Not been doing much lately but i rubbed down the boot a little more and tested a colour on the inside. What do you guys think, it's a strange blue but i think it's quite nice, If i was to go this colour then it will probably have a black roof with black arches.

1 pic was taken with phone flash on and the other with it off to try and get the right light to show the colour.

If all you have is a small hole in the boot then you are very lucky and have a great head start to most on here lol.

As for the colour, if you like it then it's fine 😄

Keep at it

Looks a fairly solid base - what are your plans? I love that blue by the way - looks similar to Pageant Blue but slightly deeper. I'm looking forward to seeing this project progress.  :gimme:

My plans are blue with black roof and arches, at the moment i am keeping it as a 998 but putting a stage 1 kit on as the engine has only done 57k miles. Bought new carpet and accs for interior, new chrome trim for front and rear windows and also chrome trim for the gutter. Brand new up rated headlights, interior bonnet release and new grill, mirrors and other bits and bobs, the list goes on. Keeping it for myself of course. There's been a little progress since the last pics which i shall upload in the next couple of days.

I like the blue

Think a black roof would suit it.

Keep up the good work
