I purchased the chrome lettering 'countryman' from mini recently, the dealership was going to put them on for me but apparently a template is needed to do this. I'm not having much success with them chasing this up.
I could possibly do it myself but a little concerned that the lettering might not be evenly spaced or straight!
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks :)

This is a classic mini forum, so we can't help you specifically.

Try totalmini or mini2 forums.

Any good bodyshop should be able to do this (it is often part of crash repairs) probably lining the letters up with a strip of masking tape as a guide.

I assume you have the lettering that goes all the way across the bootlid? Think this was the face lifted model.
I would pop over to your local mini dealership (if you have one) and take some measurement the use masking take to set the position

How many goes did it take to come up with a clean one Pete?

For the OP, you could use a computer to muck around with the kerning (character spacing) and print yourself a template. If you know any teenagers, the chances are they could laser cut a template at skool too.

I did cheat to be honest using a site that makes them up but there is an obvious word isn't there that keeps popping up, lol
