Good morning!!

looking more for the future on the engine side of things but interior i'm looking at getting sorted imminently. She's a tidy truck and the body work is sound.

I've just brought a 1974 pickup with a 1275 engine. Over the winter I am hooking the engine out to freshen the engine bay and give the block a lick of paint but I am also going to try and get a bit more power out of it. I am going for twin SU's, head work including cam and may look into boring the cylinders out. What are the recommended company for machining and mini tuning including rolling roads. I'm based in Buckinghamshire but don't mind travelling for good service.

Interior needs tidying up with new carpet and sound insulation aswel as tidying up the dash as it has no base and a new dash facia which I don't like. So what options is there to look at. I would like to keep the original central binical and just generally tidy up. Again what are the favoured places to look at the interior.

Any interior pics will be appreciated for inspiration purposes lol.

Thankyou in advance.

Adam

As regards interior, there's plenty of mini shows coming up over the next few months. My advice would be to have a look around, see what you like, then ask the individuals where they got it from. All down to personal taste and how deep your pockets are !

I'm getting my custom dashboard made by Custom Consoles. They're very helpful and reasonably priced. Got loads of options and designs on their website, might be worth a look?
