Top quality restoration there!

Where exactly are you? Can't buy it but would love to come and have a look before it goes.

Lovely little mini, I'd buy it myself if I lived in the right country.

Please post a link here to your new thread when you get started on the clubbie. I'm intrigued by how hard someone has worked to make it so ferociously ugly. And looking forward to seeing you putting it right!

Thanks for the interest , on the subject of the Contessa I will be restoring it to the original as done by Oyler

Coach Builders I have the original build spec sheet!!!! as they say each to their own :gimme:

Sorry not quite sure how to post link! but its under Coachbuilt Oyler Contessa(The Countess )

Hi folks thought I would post an update on my Sprite project! which has now

been sold and picked up by its new owner!

 taking it for last drive,

loaded on trailer for its journey up to Scotland to its new home.

I have really enjoyed restoring it to more or less its original look with quite a few uprated parts

which should keep it good for a few years, and I thought it would be good to let it be seen as

finished as when we see so many projects started on here and then they disappear whether they

end up finished or abandoned/sold who knows, also to say thanks for the inspiration! as I had been

away from Minis for 40yrs before purchasing it, although in my 51yrs in the Motor Trade have restored

a fair amount of vehicles, worked on helped on built a fair amount of competition cars, some of which

have been quite successful! can remember when I started serving my time we were restoring MG TCs

TDs TFs and Riley 1.5s which I suppose were the classics of the day.

Thats all from me on the Rover Sprite Project and once again thanks for the views and comments.

Frank
