well time for an update been really busy, building another garage, having a baby and a new job.
Mini is almost completed now probably a couple weeks more, just got to road test it.
Mini at the bodyshop just been painted solar red and silver roof.

Made a start on the headlining, its a newton commercial cloth one as would have been originally fitted to a cooper sport.

Looks great! I think you have the alarm and replay modules around the wrong way... (relays should be on the left)

next job was to get the engine in and plumbed.
then rebuild brakes and front suspension.

next job was the decals which i was not looking forward too, the big ones are fine as you can use the wet method but the pinstripe you only really get one go at.
they went on nicely in the end though.

Over the last few days i have been checking every single nut and bolt on the subframes and suspension.
Today i took it out for its first road test, drives well, brakes need bedding in and tracking needs a tweak but its nearly done.
Time for my next project then.

If you haven't done already, get some sort of heat shield between the catalytic converter and the bodywork. You may find you smell burning carpet otherwise.
