I wonder if Fuzz will go through what the rest of us go through. New front, inner and outer sills, boot floor, etc. or will this be the only early Mini without oversills.

Watching it now.
A bit odd as it looks like a Mk.2 she'll and it definitely had Mk.2 rear lights when they were working on it.
It also has a later headlining.
Looks good though.

Pity they didn't fit a correct interior trim set. Should be red/gold/grey brocade, not black.
It did look very smart though.

I love the show. But the car was a bit of a mixture of old and new with incorrect statements. Needed chrome spots. Trim on the wheel arches etc. But I bet the clubs, on what ever car they do, nit pick on the details. It's a big thimbs up from me.
PS what colour do you recon it was tartan or flame red?

Apparently it is actually a 1962 Cooper, in a Mk2 Cooper S shell with Cooper S running gear........like many old Mini's it has had many parts swapped over and modded over the decades when originalty was not very important to most owners back then.

1505 crank. Pressed rockers.

Good spot on the rockers, I went back and re-watched it and the rockers were only on the screen for a few seconds tops!!!

I really enjoyed this episode.

Spoilers

Wasn't sure when they first mentioned the Hopkirk replica idea, but it did look good.
