just my opinion, maybe it's been discussed before, I'm fairly new here.

I find the 'For Sale' section far too granular .. too many levels. It's good to scan down what's for sale without necessarily searching for something specific .. the format doesn't really allow you to do this (unless I've missed something :-) ) I would suggest that maybe just 2 levels .. complete cars and spares?

Where do tools and non-mini related items go then?

I was more concerned with the mini bit .. the spares have got 8 sections, which makes it nigh on impossible to browse mini spares. And why split car sales up into 4? There's not enough of them.

This is a pretty good point !

Always found it a bit annoying having to click on each section just to see what's for sale

Personally I think it's fine.

Seriously, who's in that much of a hurry that a few extra mouse clicks really impacts on their day?

It would be nice to just scroll through.

I might not be looking for a centre console at the moment but if I were to scroll past one at the right price then who knows!

what, like about 16 refreshes backwards and forwards to see a couple (if that) new items posted in each section? I've got time on my hands but ...

sorry about the double quotes, but hey, you're in no hurry  ;-)

This is a classic case of you can't please everybody!!

When we revamped the classifieds one of the complaints was that it a mixed up jumble and was tricky to find what you wanted.

I accept that people like impulse purchases and long lists promote this, but people also like to look for specific items easily.

The current system seems to work well for most and if I were honest we have no plans to change it sorry

Is there a filter system to use tags available of your forum software?

I don't see a problem with the current format. It's not difficult to search each area and I'd rather do that than have everything lumped in together. If I go to buy a T-shirt I expect all the T-shirt's together, not mixed up with the undies and everything else.

I'm with you on the cars though although I'd prefer cars as a section and projects as a separate one.
