Yeah just googled it £12-15 mark I'm trying to keep costs low but effective I'm on a mini mission

Agreed.  Only way to get rid of that so it looks clean again.

Looks like a fair bit of that could be tar. Try some white spirit which should thin it down and make it come off a bit easier.

What I do for wheels like that is car polish, rag 15 mins elbow grease per wheel = excellent results

I'd get some alloy wheel cleaner and an old paint brush. You can get them up much better i'm sure.

Looks like a fair bit of that could be tar. Try some white spirit which should thin it down and make it come off a bit easier.

Already cleaned got some stuff from b&m bargains £2.99 great price, great result

On the subject of the wheels as you seem knowledgeable been trying to find some centre wheels caps but very unsuccessfully purchased about three different ones now.

Also rear is wider than front, any ideas?

 You need the plain black plastic (or the ones with the stickers) centre caps with the 4 clips (witch often break) on the back. The original black ones are second-hand only, as you can buy new ones, but only for the replica rover midnights witch have a larger centre (no idea why).

 

Can't find any standard ones, but any of these should fit.

Still can't understand why different measurements on rear, tried some recently and tighter in front than rear?
