Ok thrt id make new topic ive had this mini for while now sorta started it then stoped got busy with other projects well now i sold them all so just have this and my racing mini, the plans are to complate re build backend of the mini with new boot and rear valence and then smooth it all out with a smooth bootlid
then im guna see if i can get my door reskined as i think they started to go, the rest of the body is pretty solid! After that i plan to primer it all my self and then get it painted matt black or a dark grey, from there i might have some Carbon fiber Miglia arches come very soon :1eye: that will go relaly well with the black paint :-

Specs to be:
Orange or white with Black roof
CF - Miglia arches, Bonnet (exposed both)
10 x 7 Whellers
Fully adjustable Suspension to make it nice and low
Smooth back end
Deseamed Front Valance
Mk1 Grill
Side exit rolled lip exhaust or bike can with cut out into the rear valence
Striped out inside with 2 racing seats
Rear cage
Engine:
Im playin on using one of my old racing engines all 998s as these have all been rebuilt, and are really responsiv
and pretty quick for 998

heres latest pic

Sounds good! door skins are actually really easy to do. Now I've done one, I'd never pay to have one done. To remove the old one, grind around the edge of the door, until there appears to be nothing holding it on. Then drill out the spot welds that are probably hiding somewhere, and the old skin will fall off. I painted round the lip on the door, and the edge of the skin to help preserve it as well. Sit the skin back on the door, G-clamp it, weld the top corner back to the door frame, then go for it with a hammer, gently tapping the edges over. easy peasy!

mmmm, sounds like the beginnings of a good project. I love those wheels, they'll look killer with the miglia cf arches. NOt so sure about the matt black paint, will be interesting to see how it comes out. Good luck, looking forward to seeing the progress

Hope the project goes well sounds alot like mine, also how do you plan on spraying it?

there gonna be worth the wait. gives you time to save lol

your other option is the one in you signature (force racing)

or you can get slotmags and mini special alloys coverted by force aswell.

i think he has a 6 weeks turn around if i remeber rightly.
