Hi,

Need a bit of advice, pls. Looking for a wing aerial and was going to buy chrome, telescopic one but the note at the bottom says not to be used with later 13inch wheels setups. I don't have 13's but chunky 6x10 ones with front suspension lowered by approx 1,5 inch...

Would it fit? http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Thanks

I've just fitted a glass mounted one. However I didn't check the length of the cable when I bought in the shop and so I've ended up having to stick it to the lower left hand side of the windscreen! Haven't connected up a stereo to it yet to see if it works yet but at least I haven't had to drill a hole in the body and now there's no aerial for some kn*b to break off!

I've got a glass mounted one like above and find it hit and miss. I've taken to using TuneInRadio on my phone instead. It's like digital radio - as long as you have signal of course.

.

The one I bought is mounted behind the rear view mirror, cable is mounted round the LHS of the screen

Yeah that could work with my one, I'd been doing a few other jobs on the evening that I fitted the aerial so was quite stressed by the time I got round to doing it. The bottom left corner seemed the easiest place! It's sitting right behind where the wiper blade is at so doesn't quite stick out so much. It does have a small LED on it which may need a bit of tape on it if it ends up being to bright and distracting

Thanks, but it has to be wing mounted as my Mini has fresh paintwork and the aerial is more to cover the hole in the wing...
