Just spotted this on Gumtree

" My beautiful mini has been stolen from Leamington Spa - he's called Robbie and I want to bring him home. 

He isn't concours or expensive but he means the world to me, if you see it please contact me. He may not have the same number plates and some external features may have been changed. However there weren't many of these made so very distinctive with his set of features. 

If in doubt contact me - there is a £500 reward for the safe return of this vehicle.

We didn't go to Gaydon, but the Churchill Classic car show instead.

We've been to quite a few shows in Robbie since I've had him, definitely been at some in Gaydon so you might have seen his gorgeous little face!

I was curious as there appears to be a spate of local mini thefts on and around mini shows. This Mini is local to the Gaydon show.

I keep my car hidden, fitted with a stoplok, immobiliser & a tracking device, very careful at shows about telling anyone where I live, but know of other owners who don't even lock their cars.

Really interesting about the car shows. It was stolen while I was on holiday but was actually the weekend of the Gaydon show so there may be a link! I've met some lovely people and I will definitely be fitting everything next time!!!

We're going up to junction 15 on the M40 on Saturday on the back roads to avoid the Motorway, we'll be keeping our eyes open as well.
