Simple question - the first vehicle you drove under its own power with you as the driver.

Mine was a 1987 Ford Fiesta XR2 in Ford diamond white. Nippy little thing. It was my first driving instructor's car (insurance must have been cheap in 1991) but I didn't get on with her so switched instructors. All my other lessons (& my test) were in a brownish-grey Mk2 VW Golf 1300.

First car I ever drove post test was my 1977 Mini 1000 called Huey.

Mine was a 1964 Mark 1 Austin Mini, paid £50.00 needing a new rear subframe. Wrote it off a couple of years later when I hit a tree (young and stupid), Then followed it with a 1978 1275GT in Vermillion.

first drive was an old fiesta van when I was about 10 in my dads old yard (around 1984).  First official drive was at midnight on my 17th birthday which was in a Datsun Sunny - the same car was also my first drive after passing my test before I bought my first car which was a Fiat Panda.

Vauxhall Victor VX 4/90. My dads car at the time, used to drive it up the tip road in Bexhill. MPC200D. They gave it to me when I passed my test. More filler than metal but it worked (for a while)

My dad's 10 ton flat bed truck when I was 8.  I had to use both feet to usethe clutch pedal and when it got going my arms AND my legs pushing off the dash to turn it,  (no poncey power steering in those days!)  I will add this was all on one of our abandoned airfields :-)

I managed to grab the keys of my dad's 66 Chevy El Camino and move it, way before I could legally drive. I learned to drive (auto) in my mom's 1963 Ford Fairlane station wagon and later on, with stick in my dad's 1968 VW Kombi.

Dad was a builder and we had an ancient rear-wheel steer, single cylinder diesel dumper truck which I had "lessons" on at about the age of 8. (About 1967)

Triumph Herald passed my test in it, no need for a three point turn it would spin round on a sixpence only down side the trunions would fall apart and the chasis out riggers rusted away.

Austin 7 around my mates Dad's field. Took driving lessons in an Austin A40, failed the test twice, changed to another driving school with a Mini and passed easily.

Thinking about it, I piloted an aircraft (just for a few minutes) before any of that. Wish I'd kept it up.

Piaggio Ape, it was red and served as an ashtray for a friend's uncle...
It had no brakes and rubbish suspension, the only way to stop was to actually aim for the potholes in the road... 😀

I was 10... 😇
First car with a licence was a 1982 mini city I built and still have it rusting away waiting for me to re-restore it.
