Well its been a massive labour of love, but shes nearly done
New calipers,pads,discs,brake lines,servos, master cylinders,unions,ball joints,track rod ends,gaitors
Bruised and blooded knuckles, masses of new tools
But she works, after hours of messing
Just a few(hopefully) small jobs to do for mot
And then drive it and hope i like it😁Attached File  20160611_170957.jpg   76.16K   24 downloadsAttached File  20160616_154250.jpg   66.74K   51 downloadsAttached File  20160620_163633.jpg   58.85K   13 downloads

nightmare, couldnt separate the brakepipes from some of the unions so ended up ripping them all out(which isnt a bad thing) as there all brand new now.everything was seized.caliper bolts, basically every bolt, ball joints, hub nuts(lump hammer and chisel job)
usual replacement of the brake/clutch masters, slave, brake reducer(pedal barrels seized)
local mini specialist was useless so had to make all the pipes myself
and i didnt realise metro discs were slightly deeper than mini discs so that was a head scratching moment
but its all worth it
and i dont know why the pics are upside down

... and, if anything they're more fun to drive than a Mini - as long as a decent job has been done with the pedals and you don't need to reverse park often. Be sure to fit a dipping mirror too!

funnily enough the pedals are terrible, throttles sticking, and the brake & clutch, well i dont know whats going on there
thanks fr the djp mirror tip
took it up the road for its first drive, and she drives really well, but plenty of tinkering to do
