When I log on to this forum I regularly get attacked by a virus - perheytist-umspinnt-manorhousegarden.uk - perhaps the administrators could look into it (I have mentioned it before because its been going on for some time now).

I wonder if this is why my work laptop has a panic attack if I view the forum on it? (I usually access from iPhone or iPad)

More than likely your PC rather than the forum or else everybody would be having the same issue. Otherwise it could be a false positive, perhaps a plugin the forum is using that looks like a virus and is setting your antivirus off but is actually fine!

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

As Sleepy Stu says, the odds are high that it's your PC as opposed to the forum. However I'm more than happy to look in to it to be sure.

Can you provide the following so I can investigate:

  • Screenshot of the message you receive
  • Browser and version
  • Anti-virus software and version
  • Operating system and version

Tricky to do because it's sporadic - it calls it an exploit attack if that means anything to the IT savvy?

More than likely down to your computer have you tried downloading a trusted anti virus and malware software and running that to check your computer?

Also had this on a number of occasions, called "exploit attack"......I'm running Norton 360 on a windows 7 laptop.

Cheers, Steve.
