I have a 1992 mini: British Open Classic with a 1275 engine - Manual trans
There is no mark on the pulley for the timing. The timing scale is on the motor. There is a sight hole on the housing end with the Clutch. Its roughly 3/16, not enough to see anything.

The motor cranks a bit slow, I was thinking the timing might be to far advanced.

Any suggestions?

Slightly O/T but relevant and very important.

It could be that your Harmonic Damper has failed and this can be a warning sign of that.

With the engine off, put the car in top gear and slowly pull it forward by hand while looking at the Damper, there is a notch on the inner side of them, closest to the timing chain cover. If you find it and when at TDC (pull out no. 1 plug and look for the piston, it will give a near enough indication) it doesn't line up with the Timing Marks, then I wouldn't muck about with it, change it for a new one as it will lead to a broken crankshaft.

I put it gear and rolled it already, no notch

Anything else?

Got an MG Metro pulley here if it will fit. Sure it will because it was replaced by a MED alloy for for a Mini.
