The bright yellow one was a single R1 engine in the front and the twin rear engined mini was Matt Fox's with 2 R1 engines (Red one off dvd)

there has been a twin bike engined mini [one front ,one rear] built , but i dont know much more than this,
i have spoken to the creater a few times but have no tech info,
so i have to conclude that as this was done at least 5 years ago its been a relative failure , or just to time consuming to get right,

I was going to say the twin bike-engined mini has been in MiniWorld. I'm pretty sure I have the article if anyone wants me to scan it in?

It was a grass-tracker IIRC, not a road car! lol

Holy Tits - V8 hyabusa is that? where did u find that - i must know more!

Regards the twin bike engine jobie i've seen two - or they may be the same one, just different colours. There was a bright yellow one in one of the ultimate mini DVD's and there was a red one featured in one of the minimags a few years ago. Both of these cars where R1's tho.

Try powertec, they build them for aroun £18K+ then there is the rebuild starting at 4 figures every30 hours of running!! Not really practical
Nice though, Attached File  V8rearhigh.jpg   86.74K   32 downloads

look up autograss racing or as u call it grasstracking. there are several in fact most class 7 are twin engine minis or cinqs or any small car. either sat side my side or one in front of the other. generally for racing purpuses the engines are behind the axel which makes it a little more difficult. v8 hayabusa has also been used in some cars. a friend of mine has just built a mini with twin R1s in the back side by side, another bloke has a mini pick up with twin gsxr 1000s side my side.
however i didnt think twin engines where aloud on the road??

Correct, a vehicle which has two independant engines will not be allowed on the road ( under current legislation )

To use two engines ( or more ) they must be mechanically connected, usually through the crankshaft, so one in the front and one in the back is not an option.

Yup, thats what stopped me having two engines in mine.

I know have my 1.3 in the front and the tank and battery in the front? :D
