I have been scratching my head over this for a while now. When ever I turn my car on the radio has fully reset itself and the clock in dash rails is also wrong.
Any help or idea please

I'm with Jaysmini - look at the back of the clock if you can. should be 2 different wires going into it (+ 3rd wire to casing).

One wire will be to light the clock -easy to tell, just disconnect them when the (side) lights are turned on & see which makes the light go off.

*Note my 35LE had clock light on all of the time, not sure if it was a factory thing(!?)

The other wire will be the feed, so take a note of the colours on the plastic coating then find the other end that's connected to the fuse box, with the same colours.

Both types of fuse box (old 7 new) should have a permanent & a switched feed, so just find a free connecting terminal if you can & swap over. You may need to fit a piggy back spade connector if there are no free terminals.

Let us know what age / type mini you have if you get stuck.

Good luck

MA
