I'm so jealous.

 

I had 2 rover metros from 1991 to 1999 before going on to a Rover 25. They are just so sweet and smooth.

Yes I'd forgotton how smooth the ride was
Especially when you compare it to our minis

Had the suspension pumped up today

Turned out it was quite low its sitting much better now

Love this! Insanely tidy! I've been in the metro game for a few years and don't think I've ever seen one this tidy that wasn't in concourse at a show. Hold onto it. Examples like this will be rare with prats like me putting VVC's into Metros left right and center!

Bit of an update on this

Cars been running great with no problems my lad uses it as his daily

Replaced the drain tube on the heater got the part from rimmer brothers





Fitted



Sourced this panel which keeps crud off the engine



Fitted



Finally got round to waxing the rest of the car removed the sill trims and gave a good coat of clear wax glad to say no rust was lurking
We've replaced all the screws with stainless
Also gave the rear arches another coat of wax this should stop the road salt ruining it














That's all for now
Going to service it before xmas and the tail gate will be painted in the new year

I must admit it's hard to believe too. I loved getting looks and compliments all the time in mine.
