Right, i have just been given the go ahead from nick and mark to organise a stand for the malvern mini show on december 10th at the 3counties showground in malvern worcestershire.

Many people have said this show has been poor in the last few years with clubs not turning up, but if TMF could get a permanent stand then maybe other clubs would see that the show is getting better, and bigger and progressing.

Last year both mini mag and miniWorld were there and both had a small write up and featured a few pictures of stands and cars.

If you would be interested in putting your car on the stand then please PM me. I will also be PMing people who's cars i wold like to see on the stand.

yeah sorry i have been infomred that it is now on November 26th and it is at the 3 counties showground malvern, in the midlands. will be on in a few days as im off to get bladdered on my 20th

Huey would love to come (see also Oxford posting) but since we're due to go and live in Devon any minute we'll have to announce at the last minute if that's ok. In which case I'll pay on the gate.

as said in the oxford topic, would love huey to pop along, would certainly turn some heads.
As for paying if your on a stand i THINK its free, but dont quote me on that.

EDIT RIGHT, ive finally got through to someone to talk to abuot the show, but wasnt too helpful.

Basically the guy who used to run the shows doesnt do it anymore. This year its under "New management". The website looks quite good and the lady said all details are due for release tomorrow on their website ( www.classicshows.org ).

We can do a Group booking and i already have 4 cars (ALL non-TMF'ers) confirmed.

The date has been confirmed as November 26th 2006. Anyone who would like their car featured on the stand PLEASE PM ME, i will also be pm'ing people asking if they could put their car on the stand, if they are turning up to the show.

Right just got off the phone with the organisers. Basically they are using a differnt hall this year and the pitches are smaller meaning each group pitch is only alowed 4cars!!!
BUT..yes there is a but...we can also set up a stand outside, with unlimited cars.
Basically its £2.50 per car, so £20 for a stand inside and however much more for the outside stand.

Personally i think we should grab a stand inside and outside, but we shall see what the mods and members think abuot it.
