Make sure that you have dola in your account. Most places email back when the card transaction fails, but some don't bother to tell you.

Then again I ordered a wiper rack from them and it took nearly two weeks.

They may not have the stuff in stock, but they won't let you know that. If it doesn't come after a month then you should chase them.

they used to be quite good i use them a lot, however in the past 18 months they've gone from good to really bad. They have some new staff (one of which knows absolutely f**k all about minis) and don't seem to have anything in stock anymore.
Since they took on the new bmw thing they seem to have lost interest in the classic (or real) mini and they have gone very expensive.
I went the other week and they had no accelerator cables in stock, no gear selector seals and no gaskets for a hif44 carb and they call themselves a specialist!

Remember that since the line has been closed for approaching four years now it is getting harder for dealers to get hold of stock themselves. Now that Rover is no longer buying 1000 of each part every couple of weeks suppliers are reluctant to do production runs of grommets, hoses gaskets and stuff that they may never shift.

I know that the staff at Mini Sport have been getting worse over the last few years, and I think it started when they merged with that other tuning place that they always used to mention when you phoned, but I don't think that they have been that bad. Not as bad as John Cooper Garages, no sooner was the last mini off the line than Mike Cooper was running down stocks and removing real Minis from the marketing material and website. Only 18 months before they had a MASSIVE tent at MINI@40 with a couple of really cool cars and all their staff and even John himself at the show. Not a great way for Mike to honour his father (who truly loved the classic Mini) IMHO. Sorry, got a bit off topic again.

Thats terible! Its not even as if a thermostat housing is that special a part or anything. I ordered £300 of stuff from mini machine including some stuff they had to make specialy and i had all the stuff 3 days later! You shouldnt get anything less from minisport.
