Has anyone wired a light that comes on when the boot opens? If so can you explain the wiring? Where did you get the feeds from?

You can extend the purple/orange wire to the interior light, (which is a live feed) along the roof rail, down the "C" post into the boot. This goes to one side of the light, then wire from the other side of the light to a door switch operated by the boot lid, then other side of door switch to chassis. (The door switch may be earthed through the fixing screw depending on type). If you stick LED strips on the underside of the parcel shelf these make an ideal light as they are very slim and you cannot see them without "Limboing" under the parcel shelf.

Thanks that all sounds very doable, even for me 😁
