I renewed my policy last week and sent my agreed value photos/documents through on Friday (2nd September).  I got an email this morning (6th September) saying it had been passed on to their agreed values department.

I tried phoning and they couldn't give me any idea of when it would be complete and said they usually say 'about a week'.

Problem is i'm away in the car this weekend and i want to make sure i'm properly covered (from past experience).

How long does it usually take? Ive had it in the past but can't remember. (It's also £40 now and not £15)

Thanks

Sounds like another reason to not use flux.
My agreed valuation was free of charge.

mine was done in about a week.

I see they have bad press but I find them massively helpful, quick to answer and genuinely the cheapest.

Wow, £40 is a lot unless the premium you pay is very good value. But a week doesn't seem unreasonable to turn a valuation around. Probably worth checking that your policy is valid to allow you to drive, although you may need to wait a short while for confirmation of agreed value but I can't see this preventing you from using the car if everything else is in place.

The policy is valid and I can drive the car. They state though you'd only get market value in the case of a claim.

The policy is around £375. The car is rather modified and it's my second car.

I've had two different policy's with agreed valuation over the last two years.

1st one took just over two weeks to come back.
2nd one took just over a week.

Some companies do charge for valuations, I asked when I got my quotes whether it included them. My latest one had a £35 charge but this was included in the price of the insurance.
