Hi, I'm new here. I'll give you a bit of background. I've owned my classic mini for almost 7 years now, but just really started restoring it recently. It's a 1966 morris mini deluxe Australian model. It does have a bit of work that it needs done to it and I do have access to a good welder. It has rust in all the usual places, but I would like to know exactly where to start so that I don't get any twisting in the body. I need to repair the following panels: front apron and both wings, both inner and outer a panels, both front floor pans, LH door step, battery box and a small repair above the RH rear wheel through the wheel arch to the 1/4 panel. Would any one have any recommendations of what should be repaired first? And also bracing suggestions ie door to door, across the doors
Thanks in advance for your help

If the car is kept nice and level then in theory for what you are doing no bracing should be needed.
The step could be replaced as long as the inner sill is sound but to be honest running a brace across the door would do no harm whatsoever. ( I have replaced steps before without bracing but now I have several different braces made I fit them anyway)
So door step first followed by floor pans then the A panels followed by the rest of the front panels. The other bits can be done as and when.
