I have just purchased a eaton m45 supercharger with manifold for a steal
Looking to fit it onto my estate
But need some advice and pointers
I currently have a 1330 fast road bill Richards engine (can list full spec)
And a hif44 carb
Been told I need to get a decompression plate and maybe a few other bits
Anyone got a list of parts needed or a place that will have a detailed guide etc ?
Cheers guys
Josh

I am a complete novice so don't really understand the benefit of either?
Is it just to stop the carb freezing up?

Well I've had both and blow through worked better for me using a hif44.
For a suck or blow through you would need to lower the compression so you can use a de-comp plate, but it is just another thing to fail. Better to change the pistons or the chamber cc in the or a bit of both.
Actually easier to list like this
Suck through needs - inlet pipe, elec fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, air heater element in air filter, belt , bottom pulley, carb, afr gauge
Blow through needs - Podifold manifold (easiest), turbo carb or a converted hif44, elec fuel pump, turbo fuel pressure reg, return pipe to fuel tank, belt, bottom pulley, intercooler, boost pipe, BOV or bypass valve, afr gauge.
Don't have a hot cam, use a healthy engine, up-rated clutch, standard gears and drop gears are OK, cross pin diff, main centre bearing strap and an exhaust that can cope. any flywheel will do and get it all balanced

Thanks a lot for all the info you've given me it's very helpful. This is a list of pictures of the bits I have so farWell I've had both and blow through worked better for me using a hif44.
