Small updates. Took out the Mark 3 cooper s heater (the wrong one) remove what was inside restored an old mk1 heater (which i paid only 40 euros and here we are)

When i put the heater matrix back on it was facing to the right. So i saw that the points where the heater seats where not straight ( this are going to be fixed on the bodyshop)

Then i remove the 1310cc from a racing mini that i had (and never going to restore this one also sold this one and kept the good stuff 40 weber, 3 in 1 maniflow race exhaust straight cut gears)
also i found a second mk1 fiberclass boot lid on ebay from Ben van leeuwen much beter quality than the first one and one corbeau vintage bucket for 30 euros :D this month was the cheap month.
Enough said the car will go to mr raftopoulos in Athens for a total restoration it's the time where i see this and that and has to be done one and for good!!!

Ι have some questions and i need your help.

1) The new motor is from a DE Tomaso Innocenti 1275. It has Pre verto Clutch so i assume the pump has to change first? Or i can put the level and pump of the verto?
2) if i get a flange rebuilt kit they are the same with the 1275 out of a metro? the headgasket is bigger due to bore
3) it has bigger valves and double springs. The valve seals are the same? i have an mpi new set sitting around.

4) i found double camshaft chain inside but i had already new from nick swift to fit
5) new pistons rings and crankshaft bearings will be changed because the motor was sitting for 7 years but it started 3rd try. Thinking to put a 40 weber which i have with a swan intake but my mechanic told me a single 32/38 weber will be better for road use.

Day one the 2nd 1275 engine went to the workshop. But i have two questions. This engine supposed to be my mechanics old one from an Innocenti de tomaso UPDATE IT IS NOT). (no engine number on the block unfortunately

-On the back of the block has the L (Leyland)stamped on the left side and wfm1024 on the right. (So by wfm1024 is a 1275 Late A+ maybe from  a cooper?

-Also i got 2 webers from my friend they say 40DCOE24 on top of them and a mocal oil radiator. :D
-Also the clutch is a verto and not a pre verto . i am little confused over here

The best part so far  a deal in a very good price. Straight cut Gearbox for the new engine.
